School History

At Brownsville, we work to make each student a success, whatever it takes. To have success, students, parents, and teachers must work well together. We handle concerns at the lowest level at Brownsville. If you have any concerns, please contact your child's teacher first. If unresolved, please contact the principal for further collaboration and problem solving.

Brownsville Elementary is a place of tradition, innovation, excellence and fun.

Brownsville one-room schoolhouse in 1900. Our current building was built in 1954.

We are district leaders in the use of technology and broader STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) areas. We are  a STEM School of Choice for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We’re flipping the use of technology towards an educational tool, rather than pure entertainment. Our STEM focus helps us meet our school mission to reach all students through active engagement and a curriculum aligned to meet individual needs.
